Commitment to achieve an objective is fundamental to the success of the effort. Before you can gain commitment a team must have confidence that the objective is achievable. Clarity around what the objective is and why it matters is absolutely essential to gain that confidence.
The Discovering Your Value Proposition workshop provides teams across all levels in an organization with a validated tool to define, clarify, and understand the value of an innovation effort to both their customers and their business that gives teams the confidence required to commit fully to the objective.
For a newly formed business or those contemplating starting a business this workshop helps aspiring entrepreneurs understand what the business must do be successful. For an emerging business this workshop ensures internal stakeholders are aligned with those critical customer and company objectives before significant capital is deployed in pursuit of the innovation.
The Customer Value Proposition defines why a customer will utilize your innovation and how they will derive value. The Innovation Value Proposition™ defines the value of the innovation to your business. Both are critical to the success of any innovation effort and enable business leaders to more effectively align their organization with those critical value drivers for the development and implementation of a product, service or business process. You will begin this workshop by learning to create Customer and Innovation Value Propositions that will help to guide your project to success.
After developing initial drafts of your value propositions, you will refine and clarify each by examining the product/market fit and then re-examining the value to your organization of successfully achieving your innovation effort. This will be done in a group setting that encourages team interaction and iterative decision-making. You will learn tools to help you enhance your Customer and Innovation Value Propositions, clarifying your understanding of what your organization must do to allow your project to succeed.
Effective execution demands alignment on those objectives deemed critical to success. Using the provided workshop tools you will be introduced to our proprietary concept of Critical To Value™ elements. These elements are comprised of the project and organization deliverables that are deemed critical from an execution perspective and fully support the realization of the Customer and Innovation Value Propositions. At the conclusion of the Discovering Your Value Proposition workshop you will have the tools to ensure your organization has the clarity and confidence to gain the commitment of your team to deliver the desired innovation.
You will leave the Discovering Your Value Proposition workshop with:
- A fully developed Customer Value Proposition and Innovation Value Proposition for your innovation effort.
