There are a number of ways you can use LinkedIn to promote yourself and IOI Partners.
“Like”, “Comment” or “Share” the Article posted on the LinkedIn IOI Partners page
Whenever an IOI Partners Article is published on the website, it is shared via LinkedIn shortly thereafter. To interact, you could “Like” it, make a “Comment” or “Share” it. This will broaden your reach because people who follow you will see this activity.
To help you understand the differences between the three actions, check out this article.
Share your Articles and/or other items
When one of your own articles is published, you could “Share an update” on your LinkedIn account. This will get you and IOI Partners much greater visibility with those you are connected with.
To help you with these shares, please see the 2016-IOI-Updated-Editorial-Calendar Excel file in the company Dropbox “Marketing 2016” company folder for the “Social Media Links”. These are Bitly links and allow us to track clicks. You’ll need to add your text along with the article title and Bitly link.
You can also copy what was shared on the LinkedIn company page.
If you’d like to do more, you could “share” all articles whether they are yours, a team member’s or something interesting you found elsewhere online.
Publish your Articles
As an alternative to sharing your articles, you could share the entire article to the LinkedIn community.
The images currently used in each Article should work. To get the image, right click the image in your browser and select “Save Image As..” or something similar.
For the “Write Your Headline”, you can use the Article title. For the body of the post, you can cut and paste the article content. Generally speaking, the formatting should carry over, but please preview and correct any issues.
